What we do
Translation
When you want to have your document translated, you want to get the best translation.
Being able to merely translate words or expressions is not sufficient to have a translation that proves
authentic and meaningful to your target audience.
You want readers to appreciate the value of your content, and fully understand the message you
wish to convey. Indeed, translations should go unnoticed, and native speakers should never be able to
identify them. A good translator will always bear that in mind.
As people increasingly use translation tools such as Google translation, leading to non-professional translations and mediocre quality work, it is now, more necessary than ever to hire a professional translator to take your translations to the next level.
Localization
In today's hyper-connected world, firms hope to sell their services and products through various media, and in different continents. However, many of them still neglect the relevance of the messages they look to convey to their audience.
Everyone tries to get more bang for their buck by using free translation tools, but only a few people and businesses realize how detrimental this might be.
When a freelancer or a translation agency provide quality services, conformity is not the first thing that springs to mind, unlike segmentation, positioning or else differentiation.
Those elements are all the more important in a globalized environment.
As a result, adapting a standard content to a local market to reach your niche is bound to turn your leads into customers gives you a competitive edge.
As a matter of fact, customers need to identify with the content.
A great localization should go unnoticed and
be filled with numerous references relating to the target culture.
Not only does localization deal with written content, but also with design and images that speak to your target audience.
As such, localization must be taken seriously, given the ever-growing impact of globalization, and the importance of cultural singularity,
in a world where those very cultures are drowned into a uniform and drab globish English.
In order to localize content so that you get your message across, we can localize your website from scratch or use tools such as WPML.
We are the kind of professionals willing to go the extra mile to facilitate the credibility and the impact of the target content.
So, if you have any website to localize, we will be more than happy to help you!
Proofreading
Everyone makes mistakes, whether they be about spelling or grammar. Therefore, when you are done writing, proofreading is a really good habit. I would advise to give yourself some time though.
Ideally, you may want to proofread a bit later, take a break, and only then publish your texts. Indeed, this might enable you to read them again with a fresh mind, and may result in your being more effective in pinpointing potential spelling mistakes for instance.
In the digital age, everything is fast-paced, and we seldom take time to dwell on the right word, or check the spelling of the words we used.
Furthermore, more and more people confine themselves to Google tools in order to translate words or idioms, without even looking them up in the first place, which might lead to nonsensical translations.
Hence, in the translation world, proofreading is essential. Not only does it enable us to correct our mistakes, but it also gives us a chance to get a broader wording approach, improve the syntax or the turn of phrase, which, in turn, is bound to facilitate understanding. Indeed, it dramatically improves style and readability.
We have a keen eye for detail and we are experienced proofreaders. Contact us now to have your content proofread!
